I planned on a nice 8-mile hike in the nearly-full moonlight tonight but we will have to see what the clouds have to say about that. I am holding out that they will go away. The wind has picked up and the temp has dropped considerably making this a perfect night for camping. There was a small thuderstorm that barely missed me but I could see it across the creek. So, if the clouds move out I'll be able to enjoy a great hike among the blue-lit trees, but right now that plan is moot. I may have to get out the headlamp. -- Post From My iPhone

Greg Eans is an award-winning photographer whose photographs have appeared in many publications across the globe. In his twenty years of experience as a photojournalist and photo editor in the United States he has produced work for and has been published in magazines and newspapers such as Time, People and USA Today and has been featured several times in MSNBC's Photos of the Week. He has also been a lecturer for the Southern Short Course in News Photography.
